Mental Health
A mental health condition, also called behavioral health, causes changes in a person’s thinking, mood or behavior. Common behavioral health concerns include:
- Feeling sad or hopeless
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Substance Use Disorder
- ADHD
- Trauma/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Autism
Many mental health issues are medical just like cancer or heart disease. These issues can happen to anyone. They can be treated. Treatment may include talking to a therapist or taking medication. Left alone, mental health problems can get worse.
Talk to your primary care physician (PCP). If you don’t have one, Coordinated Care can help you find a provider, find local resources, plan an appointment and find transportation. Call Member Services at 1-877-644-4613 (TTY: 711). To speak to a Care Coordinator about Autism or ABA therapy, press 2 for Member and then press 5 for a Care Coordinator.
Coordinated Care members have physical health,* mental health, and substance use disorder treatment covered under our plan. For more information about benefits, click the links below. To find an in-network provider, please use our Find a Provider directory.

Support for Children's Mental Health
Coordinated Care maintains a network of local mental health providers for members to choose from and visit without a referral. You also can seek mental health care without going to your PCP first. Your PCP may also provide mental health care within their office.
Coordinated Care works with our PCPs to provide education on mental health screening and guidelines for providing mental health care within the clinic. Search our provider directory to find a local mental health provider. Using the detailed search option, select "Behavioral Health" under type of provider. Then under specialty, select the type of specialist you're looking for, like clinic, counselor or nurse, for example. Be sure to choose the "child/adolescent" options when needed.
Our team of care coordination staff can also help you find a provider, schedule an appointment, and arrange for transportation. If you need help or have questions, call us at 1-877-644-6413 (TTY: 711).
