Using your Pharmacy

Date: 07/10/19

Coordinated Care of Washington, Inc. is committed to providing you quality, appropriate and cost-effective drug therapy. We work with providers and pharmacists to ensure coverage for drugs used to treat a number of conditions and diseases. However, some medications require Prior Authorization. Or, they may have limitations on age, dosage, and quantities. Coordinated Care’s Preferred Drug List (PDL), or the Formulary, lists the drugs you can get.

Our Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meets regularly and reviews the PDL to make sure medications are fitting and cost-effective. The Committee includes our medical and pharmacy directors and outside physicians. If you disagree with a decision about the coverage of a medication, you can appeal by calling Member Services at 1-877-644-4613. You can also find the most recent, up-to-date PDL online at CoordinatedCareHealth.com under Provider Resources. You can also call Member Services for a printed copy.
