Coordinated Care uses many tools to track how care is given to members. We look at the quality of care you and other members receive, and can take action to improve services if health needs aren’t being met. If you have any questions about Utilization Management (UM), contact us.

A few notes about UM:

• Member care decisions are based on appropriateness of care
• There are no financial benefits to physicians for denying care
• Criteria for UM practices are often updated and overseen by the Coordinated Care UM Committee
